A reader of my blog has created a couple of excellent calculators for planning early retirement. Those calculators are much more intuitive and beautiful with graphs and detailed explanation of all the numbers involved in the calculation. Most importantly, it respects user privacy and all the data stays with you. You can download your plan and load it up again without ever storing any of your data on the cloud.

As you know, I care about retirement planning. I’ve been wanting to build a privacy-safe retirement calculator that doesn’t ask the user for any information at all. I’ve used the ones you’ve built, and they got me curious about whether I could make something worthwhile of my own.

Wow, just wow. This is a really nicely built website. It is very well organized and has everything that I would have liked to use for my calculations if it existed some 15 years ago :). I liked everything about it. Especially the assumptions section has a whole ton of configuration options. I will probably write a small post and leave the link to your calculator on my blog if you are ok with it.
